The bookcase that makes everything on it look curated. Candles, plants, books, ceramics — whatever you put on these shelves looks like it was styled for a magazine, because the frame is doing half the work for you.
That arched top is what makes it. Where a flat-topped bookcase just stops, this one finishes with a beautiful cathedral curve that draws your eye upward and makes the room feel taller. Diamond lattice rattan back, twisted cane frame, and four smoked glass shelves that seem to float inside the structure.
The glass is detachable, so getting it through a doorway is straightforward — take the shelves out, move the frame, slot them back in. No drama.
Open sides and lattice back mean light passes through rather than getting swallowed. It displays things without boxing them in. That's the difference between a shelving unit and a piece of furniture — this is the latter.
Good vintage condition throughout. Solid frame, tight joints, no loose cane. Glass shelves are all intact with no chips or cracks.
This is a tall piece — taller than most people. Please check the dimensions and your ceiling height before buying.
