Møbelintarsia isn't a household name, and that's exactly the point. Founded in Denmark in 1948, they specialised in fine cabinetmaking rather than mass production — which is why genuine pieces are properly scarce and turn up at Bonhams rather than every other vintage shop. Worth knowing before you scroll past thinking this is "just" a teak coffee table.
Clean rectangular top with those softly rounded corners Danish workshops did so well, sitting on elegant tapered legs. Underneath, a hand-woven cane shelf runs the full length — proper storage for magazines, books, or the remote control, kept off the main surface and out of the way.
The scale is the clever part. At 125 cm long it's a proper coffee table for a three-seater sofa, but the tapered legs and open shelf keep it visually light rather than heavy or blocky in the room.
Solid teak throughout, with the warm, straight grain you'd expect from a genuine 1960s piece — take a look through the photos and you'll see it holds its colour and character from every angle.
