The coffee table you can actually use without worrying about it. Hot mugs, wet glasses, red wine — put them down and walk away. Ceramic tiles don't stain, don't ring-mark, and don't care what you spill on them. That's the beauty of a tile-top table, and this one looks spectacular while doing it.
Warm amber and mustard tiles with scattered lava-glazed accent pieces — those organic, volcanic bursts of deep green and brown that look like they're erupting out of the surface. Each decorative tile is slightly different, handmade and full of character.
Worth mentioning: some of the tiles have a faint glittery speckle in the glaze. It's subtle and we struggled to capture it on camera, but we'd rather you know beforehand than be surprised. In normal light it's barely noticeable.
The frame has been fully refinished — stripped and sealed — and the teak grain underneath is gorgeous. Rich, dark, swirling. No cracks on any of the tiles, no missing grout, no chips.
This is a style that was everywhere in the 60s and 70s and has quietly become collectible. Interior designers are using tile-top tables again specifically because they're indestructible and look nothing like anything you can buy new.
