The desk-style dressing table that earns its keep twice over. Four woven cane drawers with leather tab pulls, a glass-protected top, and that lovely lattice gallery rail around the back edge — dressing table by morning, writing desk by afternoon.
The gallery rail is the detail that sets it apart. That criss-cross bamboo trim running around three sides stops perfume bottles and jewellery dishes wandering off the back, and gives the whole piece a finished, furniture-maker's flourish that plain-topped tables don't have.
Glass on the top means the cane surface underneath stays protected — makeup spills, perfume drips, hot coffee, none of it matters. Wipe and done. The four drawers split your storage neatly: two a side, everything in its place.
One thing to check before you buy: the kneehole is 32 cm wide — snug, more perch-on-a-stool than pull-up-an-office-chair. Measure your seat first if you plan to sit right in.
Very good vintage condition. Weave intact, frame solid, glass clean.
